This hands-on experience showcased the local culinary traditions and added a delicious touch to the cultural exploration. In the afternoon, the participants did a visit to the Vista Alegre Museum, where they learned about the history of porcelain production. A walk along the picturesque Costa Nova allowed for the appreciation of colorful striped houses and the coastal landscape. On April 27th, the participants enjoyed a morning walk through the scenic Cristal Palace Gardens, providing a tranquil and refreshing start to the day. In the afternoon, a visit to the Museum Renda de Bilros in Vila do Conde showcased the art of bobbin lacemaking, a traditional Portuguese craft. The day ended with a special dinner for the teachers, accompanied by the soulful sounds of fado, a traditional Portuguese music genre. The final day, April 28th, commenced with an Open Day event, allowing the participants to showcase their work and share their experiences with the wider community. This was followed by lunch and an exciting exploration of Porto Downtown. A tram ride offered a charming perspective of the city, passing near the iconic Luis I Bridge to reach the vibrant Ribeira district. The Guindais Funicular provided a unique transportation experience, leading to the visit of the historical S. Clara Church and the City Centre.
